Instamic was a Kickstarter project which promised to bring us a wearable, wireless, waterproof mic. It is a bit larger than a lavalier, but comes with great features and we’re excited to be able to finally check it out!
First impressions
The Instamic comes with three different mic clips: velcro, magnetic, and tape. This allows us to easily hide it nearly anywhere. Their site also mentions the Instamic can go as far as 1 meter underwater.
Another cool feature with the Instamic is that it’s wireless and can be remote controlled and monitored via Bluetooth on your phone. It’s really easy to connect - if the Instamic and your Bluetooth are on, the microphone will appear on your app and you simply have to tap it to pair.
