What if you could run a full vMix production from anywhere—no high-powered machine required?
With Virtual Video Control Room production instances, it’s not only possible, it’s surprisingly easy.
The video below shows how to create a cloud-based production instance—an AWS virtual machine that comes ready to run vMix and other Windows-based tools without the need for local hardware.
Setup is straightforward. Create a new instance, choose your performance level, and connect it to a cluster. From there, you’re just a few clicks away from launching a fully functional production environment. If you’re using NDI, attaching your instance to a transcoding-enabled cluster allows you to bring VBCR streams directly into vMix with minimal friction.
Once the instance is active, simply log in using Amazon DCV and you’re instantly inside a familiar Windows interface. vMix Companion is already installed, and with your license, you can jump right into switching, streaming, and producing—just like you would on a local machine.
No complex setup. No heavy lifting. Just vMix in the cloud, ready when you are.
