Corey’s Story
Corey Behnke is a live broadcast producer, streaming architect, and entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder and CEO of LiveX.
For more than 14 years, Corey has served as Lead Producer of the official Worldwide Webcast for New Year’s Eve in Times Square, reaching over six million viewers annually across 190+ countries. He was the Streaming Architect for the 2020 Democratic National Convention and the 2020 Presidential Inauguration, designing large-scale remote production workflows when traditional broadcast models failed under pressure.
Previously, Corey served as Head of Global Services & Production at Livestream, producing more than 3,500 live internet broadcasts and directing high-profile events including the Costume Institute Gala Red Carpet, Food Network Thanksgiving Live, the 9/11 Ten-Year Anniversary Concert at the Kennedy Center, and live programs featuring Steven Spielberg, Daniel Day-Lewis, Ridley Scott, and Jason Aldean.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Corey worked as a broadcast and technical producer on major television events for ABC and PBS, including the PGA Ryder Cup ceremonies, Washington Week on Tour with Gwen Ifill, and Fiesta Latina Live from the White House.
In November 2025, Corey was appointed Practitioner in Residence at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where he works with students and faculty to connect academic learning with real-world media production. He was also named to the Titan 100, recognizing Wisconsin’s top CEOs for leadership, vision, and impact.
Corey’s work is driven by a simple belief: world-class production isn’t tied to a single city or legacy model—it’s built by teams who know how to combine technology, storytelling, and trust when it matters most.
